My dear friends, Katherine and Brett, were married in May surrounded by family and friends at the Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette, Colorado. Their love blossomed during long walks full of deep conversation and has continued to grow stronger as they raise their beautiful daughter together and plan for a life full of adventures. The first afternoon Katherine had me over to her home I walked through the door and found her casually making homemade tomato soup and biscuits in the kitchen with a bottle of wine ready to be poured...need I say more? Katherine's mother is blind, so she used touch to "see" Katherine in her wedding dress for the first time, and I cried silently as I took photos of the moment. Here are some snippets from their day:
